Getting There
Hidden away from the well-trodden tourist trail, Åmot is nestled in a secluded corner of Norway’s awe-inspiring Fjord Region. However, while worlds away from anywhere else in the entire Nordic Region, Åmot is easily accessible.
AIR: All guests flying into Førde by airplane will be collected by their private hosts and brought to the estate. Helicopter transfers can be also arranged, and guests may be delivered directly to a landing space at the property.
Oslo – Førde: 1 hour / Bergen – Førde: 20 minutes
LAND: The road to Åmot may bring you through the magnificent landscape of the fjord region. Inspiring views are aplenty, including dramatic mountain vistas, vast lakes and serpentine stretches of open road.
Bergen – Åmot via E39: 3 hours / Ålesund – Åmot: 5 hours / Flåm – Åmot: 3.5 hours
SEA: Private yachts may be chartered from Bergen or Flåm for a spectacular sail through the western archipelago or the Sognefjord, and into the Dalsfjord.
